Additionally, it is made of white leather with sky-blue leather overlays. The outsole of Air Jordan 1 Low Aluminum is white and light blue, repeating the colour of the upper, and there might be a wing logo on the heel. It has a cushioned capsule technology unit on its sole.

The Air Jordan 1 Low was originally released in several colorways, mirroring the High releases, and served as a casual take on the signature high-top. Apart from basketball players, there was another group who immediately took to the AJ1 Low – skateboarders. The skateboarders found that the low-top was more comfortable for tricks.
